Demet Özdemir is the Managing Director of BGN’s Geneva trading hub, where she oversees the company’s global corporate functions, including governance, risk and compliance, ensuring that BGN’s operations meet the highest industry standards.

With 30 years of cross-sector experience, including 15 years as an international Senior Partner at EY, Demet brings extensive expertise in audit, financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital strategies and growth initiatives.

Drawing on her senior leadership experience across multicultural and international teams, Demet is today focused on building robust governance frameworks across global functions to drive sustainable growth at BGN.

A longstanding advocate for gender equality and women in leadership, Demet founded and led the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women Program across the Middle East, Europe and the United Kingdom. She continues to advance this commitment at BGN, championing the empowerment of female leaders and entrepreneurs on a global scale.
